Indie iBooks Publishing - Updated
Friday, March 12, 2010 at 2:52PM Matt Gemmell noticed a change in the information given on Apple’s page about iBook.
Apparently, “The iBooks app uses the ePub format — the most popular open book format in the world. That makes it easy for publishers to create iBooks versions of your favorite reads. And you can add free ePub titles to iTunes and sync them to the iBooks app on your iPad.”
Great news.
This is an update to my previous article about iBooks.

This is great news. I have tons of content I keep on iSilo...which is a great platform. But it would be nice to be able to have it all on one platform...that is also easy to sync to the desktop.
I've done this Baen publisher offers many of their SciFi books either free or very cheap as ePub. But they have no cover art.
You can add that in iTunes, just like to an Album cover.
bbum (www.friday.com) has posted a number of other publishers with content..
